Edwardsville Little Tigers Basketball

Our Mission

Our mission is to teach basketball, sportsmanship and discipline to the local youth between ages 5 and 12. The organization hopes to foster passion and talent for the sport of basketball to our children within Edwardsville’s District 7. This will not only promote a lifestyle amongst the local children, but it will also improve the performances in the middle and high school programs as the children in this program grow.

Boys & Girls

Our developmental basketball club offers general athletic training and basketball specific training. Our goal is to develop young children so that they have a set of athletic skills by the time they reach junior high school. Boys and girls play in separate groups, but all of the students gain more confidence.

Age Groups

Children are divided by age and grade to ensure the fairest competition. One large group includes students from kindergarten to third grade, and the other includes students from fourth to sixth grade. We make the activities fun while introducing concepts of sportsmanship, teamwork, and focus. The older students receive education beyond the fundamentals, learning what it really takes to be a successful basketball team.
